NSF: The Public Health and Safety Company

It’s confirmed! FIJI has met NSF, FDA, and EU standards for safety and quality, and we couldn’t be more proud.

So, what does that mean, and why does it matter?

NSF International is an independent, not-for-profit organization that helps protect consumers by certifying products and writing standards for food, water, and consumer goods. In order for FIJI to receive the NSF Certification, our facility in Yaqara, Fiji, was subject to a rigorous audit to verify that the bottling facility met Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Requirements. It was also tested to both U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European requirements for more than 160 chemicals, inorganic, radiological, and microbiological contaminants. The process also included annual unannounced plant inspections covering every aspect of the operation, from the source of water, through the disinfection and treatment, to the container closure process.

Ongoing testing and annual audits will ensure continued compliance with NSF standards, as well as U.S. and European requirements, so you can be sure that FIJI Water will remain the purest and best tasting water.

We’ll drink to that!
