FIJI Green Gal is going to the Democratic National Convention!

I”m thrilled to report that I”ll be blogging from the Democratic National Convention this week! The DNC gave the FIJI Water team some credentials (thank you, DNC!), so I”m on my way to Denver with some colleagues.

This is my first time ever attending a convention for any political party, so I”m very excited to see this part of the American political process up close. And – regardless of what your political leanings are – I”m sure most will agree that it”ll be amazing to attend the first convention ever to nominate an African-American as a presidential candidate. I feel very lucky to be a part of this historic moment.

Okay, I have to pack my bags and head to Denver. Stay tuned for updates! And feel free to mention anything particular at the DNC that you”d like to hear more about: “What was it like to hear Senator Obama”s acceptance speech in person?” “Where do the delegates get those silly hats?” “Who throws the best party?” I”ll do my best to address your questions in a future posting.

I have been a big drinker of Fiji Water for many years now (I’ve been drinking at least 3 bottles a day religiously, because I had suffered from Kidney Stones about 10 year ago (and got them because I let myself get seriously dehydrated… that will never happen again because those Kidney Stones HURT)… I settled on Figi Water above many other brands because I absolutely loved the taste and texture of your water, as well as the fact that it comes from a genuine pristine source (that made a real difference for me). Taste, texture and source…all helped in my decision to spend the extra $$ for your great water, a truly great product. Thanks for producing and distributing it. Have fun at the DNC… and BTW, I will never ever buy your product again because of your political position. You blew it. Life is about choices. Good luck… JC

Hi John – Glad to hear you’ve been healthy and kidney stone free for ten years! That is fantastic – it’s definitely important to hydrate properly. And I agree FIJI Water is the best, of course. But as for political position? I just think it’s cool to get to attend a convention, regardless of party affiliation. It’s a great chance to learn about a fascinating part of America’s political process…and not something I get to do every day. I’d go to the RNC too if I had the chance! Can you help me? :-)

But hey, it’s up to you whether to drink FIJI Water…as you said, life is full of choices, and it’s great you live in a free country where you get to make them!

I don’t believe man is the cause of Global Warming either… if it truly exists. ;-) Hope you enjoyed the donkey-show. Continue to live not to regret. …JC
