FIJI Water is proud to announce the return of the FIJI Water Metro Hunt*, coming to San Diego Saturday, April 16, 2011.
Building on the huge success of the inaugural event in Chicago, the Metro Hunt San Diego will feature the best downtown venues, a guest list comprising the top new media influencers in the Southern California area, and an amazing prize pool that includes a first prize trip for two to the Fiji Jazz Festival, with round-trip flights on Air Pacific and four nights’ lodging at the gorgeous Westin Fiji Resort.
We’re rewarding not just the winners of the Metro Hunt, but also the attendees who’ve given us the best Twitter/Facebook love before the event. Are you the most creative video-blogger on the block? The most socially savvy? The best-dressed? Put those skills to work, and you could win great prizes – including a five-night stay at a luxury Villa Group hotel – both before and during the Metro Hunt.

On Saturday, April 16, 2011, 50 two-person teams culled from the A-lists of local media, social media, and niche “influencers” will hit the downtown streets and poshest venues in America’s Finest City. Their mission: to complete venue-based challenges in the hopes of scoring fabulous prizes. Teams also receive points for posting their progress on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets.
Following the main event, all contestants will gather for an awards ceremony and wine reception at the W Hotel, our host venue for the day.
