Boo-la! FIJI-Inspired Halloween Pumpkin Stencils

The pumpkin stencil is a great creative leveler. With a good stencil and the right tools even the the (ahem) less-than-artistically-gifted among us can pull off a scary-good jack-o’-lantern.

This Halloween, we are proud to present our very own FIJI Water-inspired pumpkin stencils, which are the product of the hard work of our very talented graphics team at FIJI. Thank you, Lluvia, Rob, and Betsy!

Happy FIJI-ween!

The team came up with two FIJI-designs: “Hibiscus” and “Beach.” To use the stencils, just click on the image below, which will open a PDF that you can print out. Cut out the parts of the stencil that say “Remove,” tape it to your pumpkin, and start carvin’.

Pumpkin carving has advanced a lot in the last few years, and there are now pumpkin-carving kits that are another great tool in narrowing the gap between expert and amateur. We highly recommend purchasing a carving kit to use with your FIJI stencil (or any other detailed stencil). One can be had for a few bucks at your local drugstore or supermarket.

If FIJI Water is not the first thing you think of when you think of jack-o’-lanterns (we forgive you), the people over at Bessed.com have compiled a great list of places to go for pumpkin stencils of all kinds. The sites on the list all have large libraries of stencils you can print out, for a fee.

There are also free stencils to be found on the Internet, although the selection is not as good. One site with an amazing trove of free stencils is the World Wildlife Fund, which has a dozen animal-inspired stencils that are all downloadable for free.

If you do use our FIJI stencils, be sure to send us a photo of your work. We’ll put it up on our Facebook page and website and declare you incredibly crafty.

Happy Halloween from FIJI Water!

(By the way, “Boo-la!” is a nod to our roots in Fiji: “Bula” means both “hello” and “good-bye” in Fijian. It’s sort of a Fijian “Aloha.”)

Every year my wife does an elaborate pumpkin display using complex stencils. I'll be happy that this year we'll have a FIJI Water pumpkin to round out the bunch.
