Having the opportunity to represent Fiji Water at New York Fashion Week would literally be a dream come true. As a focused and creative young person I would be an ideal candidate for this position. I thrive off of energy and staying busy. I currently work over 35 hours a week as the design editor my college newspaper and attend school full time. My love for fashion stems from my love for art and design; fashion is simply art you can wear. As an art student I have a great appreciation for beautiful design. I am constantly collecting inspiration from everyday life whether it is a form found in nature or a textile pattern from a new fashion collection. To have the opportunity to be surrounded by so many talented professionals at New York Fashion Week would be one of the greatest inspirational experiences I could imagine. I am confident I could represent the FIJI brand and philosophy accurately. FIJI’s branding is all about glamour, exotic taste, class and quality. I would be dedicated to my job, stay positive and professional throughout the experience. My job at the newspaper is high stress, we work on short deadlines and I am often forced to make quick decisions. I know I could handle any situation thrown at me during my time as a FIJI intern. My job at the newspaper has also prepared me for working with all types of personalities. I am a leader to the other designers but I must follow the instructions of the main editor. I work with all types of people and ideas to create an end product. My past work experience, understanding of design and fashion and overall appreciation of FIJI’s goals as a company make me a perfect candidate for this internship.

I know this comment may be coming in a few days later than the rest, but that is because I was unaware of the contest that was going on. However, I know that if I were to become involved with FIJI and work with the company, I know other young and eager young people like myself would never miss out on such an amazing opportunity such as this. How do I know this? Because I would make sure through my fresh and innovate ideas for spreading the word that exciting FIJI projects such as this were available. So many people like myself are willing and searching high and low to get involved in the industry. With the right team of leaders we can come together and make FIJI shine more than ever this year at Fashion Week. I would go on to list my qualities of being creative and energetic in public relations and the fashion industry, but I would rather show you in person what I can do for the company at Fashion Week, and in the future. Thank you and remember, just because my response is a few days later than everyone else doesn't mean I am any less interested, in fact it only proves just how much I want the opportunity because I am taking the risk to send it to you after deadline. Even if the positions are filled, I hope you will consider the things I have shared with you today and add me onto the team to help in ANY way at all. I am a 19 year old college student at Fairfield University. Thank You FIJI--let's make this happen Julia Maolucci

Hi I'm a small girl with a huge personality & I like to make people laugh. I'm working on getting my BA in Public Relations & Journalism, and i'm cute! [if i do say so myself ]. I've work as a radio host in the past & I'm currently a red carpet host for StyleMusicTV & for ChicTV. I interview A-list celebs at events throughout NYC but fashion's always been a passion of mine. In the past 3 years i stepped outside my comfort zone with my clothing choices & now im known as the "stylish friend." I like to incorporate old school trends with new contemporary pieces, it's like Carrie Bradshaw meets Solange. After reading the job description posted online, I already feel like this position is perfect for me. So if you want somebody with a great sense of humor and a powerful work ethic, then I'm your girl. As a Public Relations major, dealing with people on a personal level is all that I want to do. I've got a talent for making people feel at ease, while being productive & multi-tasking. So if you're looking for an energetic professional with a great sense of humor, I'm your girl. I'm available asap & I'm bored out of my mind, so the sooner you contact me, THE BETTER.

Well I believe that in order to fully represent the core of FIJI water you must be just like a bottle of it. Stylish, Clean Cut and Healthy. As a model, I have had to live by the standards that go hand in hand with the Image that FIJI water has. Just because it's water it doesn't have to be boring, but just because it's posh, it doesn't have to be flashy or overpowering. I am an energetic, multilingual (english, spanish and some french) professional fashionista with excellent people skills, and an affinity to fashion like no other. I am currently a Law Firm Manager, so I am extremely organized, punctual and focused in doing the job assigned. Like FIJI water I am simple yet stylish and everyone likes me! HAHA! So Pick me because I am the human version of a FIJI water bottle, stylish, clean cut and healthy. Take a drink of me!!! AHHHHHHH

To be interested in Fashion or any other art form in the town I hail from is highly unheard of. Not only am I obsessed with reading fashion magazines, blogs and maintaining my own blog; I am an actress. I love people, love talking with them, watching them all while drinking my Fiji water. Yes, I was always a lover of Evian and then someone handed me a bottle of Fiji and I haven't looked back. It's like a lovely silk shirt against your skin except it's water in your mouth. Nothing has ever been so refreshing to drink. Besides the bottle is a piece of art in itself. It's the haute couture item in everyone's life or at least should be. I am dedicated, smart, and fashion savvy. I would be a proud member of this team and you wouldn't regret it. Thank you, Caralyne

I am Edith, and I believe that I could be chosen because I have already launch my own fashion brand LeCol.fr. This teached me how to be organized, reliable and versatile. I am also french - it could give a multicultural aspect to your team and we could take advantage of it during New york Fashion Week. I have worked as assistant for Haut ET Court (house of Production which won the last Cannes Festival) and the channel Canal Plus. You can always rely on me, All the Best! Edith

I am a confident, sociable, creative, hard working, student with a passion for textile design , currently studying at Southampton University doing a BA in Fashion Design. I would love the chance to learn more about and enhance my understanding of the fashion industry and would relish the opportunity to contribute towards your organisation’s success, in particular working in fashion design, textiles, pattern cutting and garment construction. From a young age I have always had an interest in fabrics, textiles and design, taking apart existing fashion items and re-making them into my own creative style. I’d very much so like to be able to study something I’m really passionate about.

I've always classified myself as a hard worker, but it was not until I started to uphold such endearing positions that I sheared diligence. I am the president of G.R.E.A.N. It is an environmentally conscious organization formed in part by students, for students. Our clean-ups and advocation has made a profound impact in my community. What's so great about Fiji water is their commitment to the environment. It's also the confidence that I drink from a company who not only cares about the environment but educates the mass public. Furthering my reasons, I've also started a non-profit organization for multiple sclerosis. I along with a couple of my friends decided to sell bright neon bracelets just so to get the word out about my cause. At a benefit breakfast, we managed to sell all 100 bracelets garnering a profit of more than $200. Of course our motivation did not stunt from there, we decided to publicize our existence through selling holiday benefit albums. At the end of the holiday season, we've managed to sell more than 400 albums and gathered hundreds of dollars. Such leadership positions has deteriorated my body. When I am not answering emails or taking phone calls, I enjoy sitting at the comfort of my house and read GQ (or any other fashion magazines that happen to lay next to me). It could be the fact that I am completely infatuated with photo paper or that I admire beauty expressed in fabric and the models that embody it. It's especially in high fashion magazines that runway shots are found on each page. Women are in oversize glasses with pens gripped in their hands that project a demeanor that I wish to be part of. It's more than just taking a break and escaping to a fantasy world. These types of opportunities provide a calling. I desire a piece of my life to be fulfilled and interning at New York Fashion will fill that lonely gap. Until then... -Samuel

Stefany Clare
My name is Stefany Clare and I should be chosen at the FIJI water intern for fashion week 2010 because I am extremely tasteful, deserving, and hardworking. For as long as I can remember I continually get comments on my taste for fashion. The majority of my friends have said before “Stefany, I cannot pull off your outfit; only you can pull it off.” One time when I was fourteen, a new store opened in the mall called “Rave”. My dad took me and I picked out an entire outfit, including boots. The next week my mom took me to the store and the outfit was in the display window, right down to the boots. My mom asked who picked out the outfit and the sales clerk told her that came straight from their office in New York. Right there I decided that I wanted to be more than just fashion savvy, I wanted to be a part of the industry. I feel I deserve this job because of my ability to be honest, organized, and outgoing. I am very quick to adapt to different places and work well with a wide diversity of people. I have an uncanny ability to be thirty seconds ahead of the next person when planning what needs to be done. I am a hard worker. I have been working at the same job since I was sixteen which has taught me great customer service skills and I am now in a leadership position in the company. I am in school full time and competed as an all-star cheerleader traveling the east coast. Please consider me for this wonderful opportunity. Thank you, Stefany Clare

Growing up in a very small rural town, I'd receive many weird stares as I strutted into the gas station in velvet platform shoes and bright red lipstick to ask for, not just any but, a bottle of Fiji water. Fashion was all but nonexistent and anyone who stepped outside the "norm" was treated as an outsider. Expectations for youth were very low and when I exceeded and excelled, I was told my wildly huge aspirations were unreasonable and ridiculous. I wasn't raised in a wealthy family who could afford all the luxuries necessary to live the high fashion and glamourous lifestyle the Fiji brand and New York Fashion Week entail but since, I've made great advances in attempt to fulfill my dreams. To me, being able to promote the Fiji brand at fashion week would be an incredible chance to "live" a life I would otherwise never experience. Through this experience I would also gain skills necessary to fulfill my dream of owning a fashion public relations firm. Fiji Water, make my dreams come true!

I was a teenage band geek. Yes, I’m talking shapeless uniforms, orthopedic shoes and even a plumed hat. With saxophone in hand, I seemingly defined the stereotype. However under all of that was not band geek but rather band chic. As a young woman with a strong interest in fashion and beauty I was determined to build a career in this industry. I packed up my life in Seattle and moved to New York City where I am currently working as a magazine fashion intern. This is heaven for any fashion lover, surrounded by designer clothes and accessories everyday! While still enrolled in school, I am pursuing a marketing degree. I have an outgoing personality and am highly motivated. I would be proud to support and market Fiji water, a company that believes in environmental and societal responsibility. While Fiji sponsors local events such as New York fashion week, your company also supports such philanthropic concerns as health, infrastructure and education around the world, a great example of global giving. As a fashionista and an avid drinker of Fiji water, I would be most grateful to receive such an amazing opportunity to represent your company at fashion week. Thank you for your hydration and dedication to the global community and to New York fashion week.

i'm a Paul Mitchell Hairstylist at a local salon in Austin Texas,i've had the opportunity of doing lots of local fashion shows in austin working backstage doing hair & makeup and helping stylist. I recently got the chance to work with some of the coolest and trendiest girls from FIJI water at a big local event for the ACL music festival, I got to hand out free FIJI water to all local bands and artist and just anyone who was thirsty i had a blast making blue cotton candy to represent FIJI and with just that i was able to really see what FIJI was all about. These FIJI girls really inspired me to want to work more with FIJI and be apart of all the new and upcoming things they had to do and offer. I was able to see that it wasnt just water, it was a social light to becoming one of the most popular brands out there.

When it comes to fashion it's all about taking risks, being ambitious and being able to do it all with class and confidence. As an intern for this opportunity I feel as if I would be able to be all of the above. While working, being a full time student, and volunteer, I take everything I do very serious while keeping my humor and myself in my work. I love being apart of the energy of new york city and what a better time to be a part of something, other than fashion week. As an aspiring public relations rep and journalist (with a minor in marketing and merchandising), I feel that my outgoing, spunky personality would be a major attribute to help me keep everyone I interact with at fashion week, no matter how stressful the situation, will be a great representation of FIJI Water. I strive for success in when it comes to everything I do, and also know how to work under pressure due to my past work with children in a daycare. Try looking cute, and stylish while a bunch of crazy kids needing one thing or another. It isn't the easiest thing ever, but oh, IT CAN BE DONE! Overall, I feel that as a young, willing to learn and hardworking lady I would be able to make the FIJI Water experience for all parties involved a memorable and wonderful experience! Happy Searching, Tara xo

I am Yuliya, Russian, 27 years old. Every since moving to NY 13 years ago from Russia, I loved fashion and always wanted to be part of Fashion week, but still haven't quite made it yet. Now, being a top graduate from Fashion Institute of Technology, a well traveled and knowledgeable I am sure this year is the year for me to be there. Finally to be part of one of most glamorous event of the year. I am hard working, super responsible and happy attitude persona. I can communicate in Russian, Italian and of course English. I am high energy, stylish, fit young woman. If you give me a chance to be a part of your FIJI team during this event, you will be more than happy with the results. Looking forward to hearing from you Yuliya

Laura Harap
Hi my name is Laura Harap, i am 21 years old and am from New York City. I have dreamed my entire life of going to Fashion Week. I live in the city and heart of fashion and have never been able to attend fashion week. I currently am a senior at Iona College about 20 minutes from the city, and major in Marketing and International Business with a focus in fashion in both these areas. I have studied abroad and traveled all throughout Europe studying and admiring the different fashion trends throughout each county. Growing up I was always the ugly ducking, the overweight girl who was always picked on and had to wear horrible clothing because i never fit into the clothing that all the other girls had. I would read and watch all fashion magazines and TV shows and specials. I set my sights on working in the Fashion Industry and have done everything i could since then to make it there. Now i am not that shy, overweight, envious girl. Now i am a determined, hardworking, and aspiring woman. I now can finally fit into all these fabulous clothes. I live for fashion, I breathe it and there is nothing else in this world that I would want more then to be a FiJi Water intern. Not only do i always drink FiJi water, but my whole family does! Its a match made in heaven! Thank you for your time and consideration.

Spending my elementary and high school years abroad in South Korea, one may think I would not know what Fiji Water is. Surprisingly, attending a school inside a military base, I was able to encounter Fiji Water daily. I am the biggest fan of water, and drinking Fiji Water, my favorite brand makes me feel rejuvenated whenever I consume it. I am currently a Junior majoring in communications at the State University of New York at Albany. Even though I do not attend a fashion school as many other individuals that are applying for this internship, my passion for fashion should not be underestimated. I am always motivated to keep track on the newest and hottest style through magazines, internet and any way possible. I believe that being raised from a different country, experiencing various cultures and media benefits me greatly compared to any others that are applying for this great opportunity. New York Fashion Week is known to be the most hectic time of the year and I definitely fit the position. I am organized, respectful, responsible and most importantly hardworking. I am always willing to strive hard for what is asked to be done. For those reason, I believe I am confident to say that I am most tasteful, hardworking individual deserving of a weeklong New York Fashion Week internship.

I am currently living in the United Kingdom studying Fashion Marketing and Communication in my final year at Nottingham Trent University. From reading all previous blogs i can see a passion for fashion within all candidates, However I may not be 100% aware of Figi Water but research shows its a revitalising and popular drink amongst the Americans. I would love the opportunity to be involved within New York Fashion Week. I have visited your city in the past and its one of my favourite places to go. I am a hard working indivisual who aims to learn more within the fashion industry. I take pride in my personal appearance and health. I have alot to offer as i have very strong communication and team working skills. My life evolves around fashion and i hope to extend and progress my fashion career from the influence of yourselves. I’ve always felt that hands-on experience is the best education, so I have taken every opportunity to get closer to my goals and dreams of working in the dynamic and always-growing world of fashion. From a very young age, I was dressing up my Barbie dolls, my friends, and simply myself. As a UCLA graduate student, I was among the initial organizers of fundraiser fashion shows that took place on campus, adding logistics and management to my experience. My first job was at a high-end jewelry boutique where I began working with luxury pieces and clientele relations, leading to challenging positions as stylist and designer specialist for Escada and Saks Fifth Avenue. This experience allowed me to begin my present work as a freelance stylist who not only provides fashion choices for clients, but also inspires and helps women to find their own unique style and flair. In my opinion, fashion is not about the brands or labels that one wears, but rather about one’s personality. It is truly up to each individual to give beauty and elegance to a piece of clothing, and my sole responsibility is to help my clients do that in the most fabulous way. Audrey Hepburn once said, “I’ve had my share of difficult moments, but whatever difficulties I’ve gone through, I’ve always gotten a prize at the end.” For me, no matter how difficult a task or a job may be, I am always ready to follow my dreams and reach for my desired goals. Being a part of Fiji Water’s dynamic team at the most anticipated fashion event in the world would be an amazing opportunity. I would give 100% towards assisting with all the different tasks the Fiji Water internship would require, and would be forever grateful for the experience.

Thank you Fiji Water for providing an opportunity to intern at New York Fashion Week (NYFW), what an awesome gift! Attending NYFW has been a dream of mine for many, many years…ever since I was a young girl watching Style with Elsa Klinch on CNN. I always fascinated at what it took to pull off such an amazing event. To witness hands on all the effort, team work and commitment it takes for a designer to see their creations come to fruition would be awe inspiring. Fashion has been a long standing passion of mine that was always put on the back burner for never being “practical” enough to make any money at it. Well this opportunity would be wonderfully appreciated and would fall directly in line with my 2010 goals - to no longer have the case of the ‘what ifs’ or regrets, but to pursue my passions and embrace my desire to work in the world of high end fashion. Obtaining an internship at NYFW would not disappoint. I serve with a ‘servant’s heart’ - there is no task too small that I am above doing. I do whatever task is asked of me to the best of my ability regardless if it is recognized or not. That is truly what it takes to embrace excellence. I would represent Fiji Water with pride, high quality and uncompromising standards - just as you do with your extraordinary water. In order for the NYFW teams to be their best, they need to hydrate with the best - Fiji Artesian Water. Your kind consideration is delightfully appreciated. I wake up in the morning, still in a daze, and send my hand on a search for my bottle of FIJI water that I know is waiting for me on my bedside table. As I enjoy its crisp, refreshing taste, I open my eyes to see my previous night's outfit strewn across the floor like a piece of art. My Louis Vuitton bucket sits prettily on the floor. Next to it lay my Louboutin pumps and my folded Marc by Marc Jacobs dress. I'm still wearing my gold Chanel necklace and my white and blue leather Ettika bracelets. My lifestyle is focused on fashion. Even in a setting such as at Duke, the university I attend, where fashion seems to be based on Northface jackets and Ugg boots, I strive to create new styles and find new trends. As the Photography Editor for Duke's first Fashion Magazine, D Magazine, I find myself constantly looking for the newest fashion combination, accessory pairs, and advertising campaigns. Not only is fashion the backbone of my daily life, but I am also fully confident that I my hardworking and organized persona has prepared me for the difficult and fast-pace job of an intern. For example, I am incredibly active in my sorority at Duke, Alpha Phi, and have completely devoted all of my free time to our upcoming freshman recruitment. This job forces me to be organized, precise, and thorough, qualities I know companies look for in an intern. I know that I would not only be an incredibly devoted to the details of fashion week, but also focused on advertising the pure, crisp, natural Artesian FIJI water. Thanks!

I am not a fashion follower--I am a fashion leader. I don't follow trends--I set them. As a sophomore at Duke University, where Lily Pullitzer and Vineyard Vines are ubiquitous, I don my faux fur vest and shredded tights. I believe I am suited for this position due to three of my most important characteristics: I am hard-working, I am unhealthily obsessed with fashion, and I am able to efficiently market a product. My conscientiousness is an innate trait that dominates every aspect of my life. I work hard in everything I do--from maintaining a neat and clean dorm room to acing that economics final. My proclivity for organization and hard work is something I have carried with me ever since I was a little girl--my barbie's clothes were organized and sorted by color. As an intern for FIJI water I would be ready to give even the most trivial tasks my complete effort and utter devotion. To say that I am obsessed with fashion would be a gross understatement. I live, breathe, and speak fashion. Not only do I avidly read blogs, but I also have begun blogging myself, for www.collegefashionista.com, which showcases fashion across college campuses. Late at night, before I go to bed, my idea of unwinding is browsing through online shopping websites and placing orders. This year, I took the initiative of starting up Duke's very own fashion publication, D Magazine. As editor-in-chief, I have assembled an executive staff and I oversee all content of the magazine. It is my ambition to work in the fashion industry in the near future. In addition to possessing the necessary background I believe is vital to this internship, I am also capable of marketing and selling a product. This past summer I worked at a clothing boutique in my home town, so I am familiar with how to sell a certain product and make it appealing. Knowing how to interact with people is key, and I am firmly convinced I have the necessary people skills for this internship. As a social and outgoing person, I know how to efficiently communicate with others. I am absolutely ready to show others the high quality taste, glamour, and satisfaction that FIJI water offers! Stay chic and stay hydrated!

I first noticed FIJI water at the grocery because of it’s unique look. It had a simple, elegant, and natural appearance that persuaded me to try it. Growing up the packaging of FIJI water was one inspirations me to pursue my major in communication design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I would feel blessed to have the chance to internship with FIJI water for the upcoming New York Fashion Week. Interning with FIJI would have so many opportunities for me to explore, and I want to be challenged, exposed to new ideas and learn new skills, and be surrounded by others who are passionate about their work as well. My determination didn’t come overnight, I have spent my whole life around design. I know that interning with FIJI water will be an important part of reaching my dreams and my individual growth. Thank you for you time.

Oh boy! Everyone here is a huge fan of Fiji water and a fashion lover. Cute. I bet half of these bloggers have Poland Spring in your fridge and buy your fashion products at the local K-Mart. Fashion is not about sucking up. It's about being bold and agressive, assertive without the fear of actually landing in the spotlight. Timeless quotes of Coco Chanel apply even here. She said: “The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud.” And there is no better way to show what's on your mind than to put it on and face the world. Now that, to me, is fashion. How does it help selling water? A bold look draws attention to your product and a confident attitude gets it sold. That's all you need!

Our world is witnessing changes of every sort. We experienced the change to a new leader, we are experiencing changes financially that are changing the way we live, we are changing our habits to be more eco friendly, and we are embracing these changes with a new decade. Fashion has long echoed the times. The 2010 New York fashion week will be showing the changes designers see in the Fashion World for the future. I would be proud to support the new visions of 2010 by serving the most refreshing beverage possible…Fiji water. As a person representing Fiji water at Fashion Week; I am up to the challenge by being fashion forward, hard working, and having an enthusiasm for my role at Fashion week. I am an active person who is always on the go; earning my masters, running two NYC marathons, and working. Fiji water is always my drink of choice because of its uncompromised quality, the same quality I expect from myself. I would fiercely represent Fiji water‘s image of beauty both internally and externally. Finally, whatever fashion may echo this February I am ready for the challenge of the times.

I am ready to “pimp” your product! At age 20 I started my own company. We quickly grew over the last 9 years to 11 locations in two states. It has been an amazing experience and I have learned so much. As a small business owner, I have had to learn and master every area of my company without anyone to guide me. From working the sales floor, managing the AP and AR, building a qualified and diverse team of people, to creating and being the face of our marketing campaign … I have done it all. Feb 18, I will turn 29 years old, and I am ready for a break and something exciting. I love fashion and already planned to be in NYC for my birthday that week visiting my BFF! A chance to do something so out of my box would be a great way to start out year 29 of my life! I am an incredible people person, self -motivated, hardworking and very tasteful person. I know I would be an excellent choice to “pimp” your product! Planning Instinctive Merchandising Placement

I am passionate about marketing - I even went to school for it. And fashion is just exciting - and even though I didn't go to school for it, I live in the city that breathes fashion. Merging the two is just fantastical. Each day, as I walk the streets of Manhattan, I know there is something new and delicious for me try. I'm outgoing and friendly and I have a winning smile. Afterall, if I am going to hobnob with the models and the people who matter in fashion, I might as well try to look good. All while staying hydrated with FIJI water.

Surprisingly, when I was a child I wanted to be a teacher or a lawyer and thought that was what I wanted to be for my entire life. Flash forward to my amazing and unforgettable high school years and the first time I stepped foot into the Garment District in New York, I was overcome with chills and knew right away that this is what I wanted to do for my entire life. After graduating high school and the many many years I spent in the retail world, I thought it was time to actively pursue working for fashion. I interned during a fall fashion week and got the experience of a lifetime, and I only worked on two shows. Ever since that experience, I have been working 20 times harder to truly apply myself to the fashion industry. FIJI water is a great compliment to any fashion brand and the perfect accessory to NYFW. Currently, I am in a Marketing program part-time while working on launching a styling business of my own. I am deserving of this opportunity because I am a hard worker who is looking to not only contribute to a great established brand but also to gain connections to further my professional aspirations. I have already had some incredible experiences in fashion and I believe that FIJI’s incredible opportunity to send people to cover Fashion Week is the perfect fit for someone who is driven, ambitious, and outgoing like me.

I love fiji water and I love fashion week! I'm a recent FIT grad and a native New Yorker, who has spent previous fashion weeks smooth talking myself in. It would be beautiful to actually be wanted there. :) So, me in a paragraph: I'm a 21 year old, fun girl, now living in the West Village. I know the city, better than I know myself. I love to talk, and I have excellent communication skills, as I have previously worked in hospitality. I've traveled across Europe, and I take a lot of chances, as I've skydived the Swiss Alps and kissed the Blarney Stone. I practice bikram yoga, and I stay hydrated and looking good by drinking Fiji Water. I'm Filipino and Irish and I embrace my exotic-ness. This soundes like a good time and I'm ready!

I am a native New York City girl with a passion for fashion. I obtained a Fashion Merchandising degree from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. Since graduating in May 2008 I have held professional sales positions at many high end retailers. Including Victoria’s Secret, Lord & Taylor, and Bloomingdales. I am exceedingly people oriented, fashion minded, and have excellent organizational skills. Last year I attended fashion week in New York City for the first time. I was extremely thrilled and this made me realize that fashion is my true passion. My experience in the fashion industry makes me an ideal candidate for this position. I am very friendly, outgoing, and have excellent communication skills. Fiji Water is the most natural, healthy, water on earth. Drinking Fiji water is as refreshing as the tranquil vistas from the 322 islands of Fiji. I would be truly honored to be chosen as a representative for Fiji Water. If chosen I would definitely show designers, models, stylists, and guests how refreshing Fiji water is. Choose me and I will be the “A to Z” Fashionista at your service! Fiji Is Just Indescribably delicious!

I wish we could sit and talk, but I will do my best to introduce myself in a two-dimensional way. Creating and trying new things is one of my favorite activities. As a kid, I would beg for paint and brushes one day, and then, soon enough, I would do nothing but play the guitar. I’ll never stop learning. I began knitting, sewing, and making jewelry. I learned everything from the women in my family. Each of them had creative gifts to give, and I was eager to receive them. In turn, I gave many gifts to others. I guarantee no friend or family member of mine has a cold neck in the winter (handmade scarves are great gifts for almost any occasion)! Every woman in my family dedicated her life to her family, often sacrificing her own dreams. Each of them is a part of who I am, and they are the reason I am in New York. They have done everything to ensure that I achieve my dreams, and someday I hope that they will feel that my achievements are a part of them. I am lucky to have the unique opportunity to attend Parsons for fashion marketing. Immersing myself in this city is sometimes challenging on a budget, but luckily opportunities like this come along where I can have incredible experiences in the majestic world of fashion. I am inspired by many things, especially those that work like clockwork. Our body is a unique system fueled by (you guessed it) water! Much like fashion week is a unique system fueled by passion, curiosity, and creativity. The more I learn the closer I get to my goals, and what better way to experience fashion week than to be a part of what fuels each and every body involved.

FIJI Water is recognized for its purity, exotic origin and refreshing taste. I am very much like FIJI Water. I have a pure passion for anything I’m interested in, and I like to share this enthusiasm with others around me. Some would call me a buzz marketer. Like FIJI Water I am a leader and a trend setter. I, too, have exotic origins – my hometown in the suburb of Washington, D.C. is a melting pot of the world, and my travels to Africa, Europe and Asia have widened my perspectives of culture and fashion. The finest bottled water needs the most dedicated and committed person to represent them - me. I would be the best and most refreshing candidate for the New York Fashion Week internship. Currently I am a senior at Virginia Tech studying Marketing. People would describe me as outgoing, the event planner, determined and loyal. I do not fall under pressure and work well in a professional setting. My love for fashion came when I started working as a commission sales associate in the juniors’ department at Nordstrom when I was just 15. My experience there over the next 5 years allowed me to develop many important skills such as professionalism, good customer relationships and adaptability. These are just some of the skills that I can apply to representing FIJI Water. My go-to attitude and love for being the first to spread the word will help inspire people at Fashion Week to clearly see why, “all water is not created equal.” FIJI Water, like me, is far from ordinary.

For me fashion is akin to water, in that, I cannot live without it! It is a pure ingredient needed for my survival. But fashionista’s at New York Fashion Week also need to remember that water is key to their survival in this hectic non-stop week. I believe I am the ideal candidate to show them that! Now residing back in New York I have just spent the past 18months working behind the scenes doing pro-bono pr work for fashion events in Hong Kong, including: • MasterCard Luxury Week (covered La Perla fashion show, The Red Dress Collection closing show and Quintessentially Wrap Party) • Longchamp Fall/Winter 09’ Launch • Hong Kong Tatler Couture presents Kanchan Couture Turns 2 • Ermenegildo Zegna new Hong Kong store opening As a former colleague states: “Natasha is highly enthusiastic, perseverant and quite aggressive - when it comes to PR. Put simply, she gets the job done. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to relentlessly push media coverage.” I’m not just about media coverage though – I am about spreading messages I believe in and honestly think Fuji waters message of carbon negative (not neutral) and being the purest water available are messages style conscious fashion viewers will be wanting to hear! Cheers with Fuji Tash

As a marine biologist and advocate for environmental conservation and sustainable practices, my interest in the fashion industry may seem misplaced or unrelated. Though it is hard to make the connection, fashion has always been a very vital part of my life and works to shape the views of influential people worldwide much in the same way that sustainable practices are now gaining footing as the hip new trend to embrace. Pairing with Fiji water during New York Fashion Week would afford the opportunity to immerse myself in two of my passions fashion and the environment. Fiji has done an incredible job already of providing villages without clean drinking water access to this most vital resource. In paring with NYFW, Fiji water can expand their global scope of conservation and goodwill towards those who are unable to obtain fresh drinking water while looking stylish doing it. Having worked in retail and also at marine field stations, I realize the importance of staying hydrated during a long days work and I am no stranger to embracing even the most menial tasks if it supports the team as a whole. I consistently follow fashion week to see what trends and styles emerge both on the runway and on the spectators flocking to the tents. I realize that this is an incredible opportunity to gain just a taste of the fashion world and if chosen I would be an incredible ambassador for Fiji water and all that the company stands for while looking good doing it. Thank you so much for your consideration and look forward to hearing from you soon. Regards, Mercer Wu

I grew up in Key West, Florida where sunny days seemed to require great tasting FIJI water more than the beautiful outfits I ogled over in fashion magazines. Whether I was sailing, swimming, or even shopping, the energy FIJI gave me always came in handy. Drinking FIJI water makes me feel full of life and ready to tackle the day. So when I moved from Florida to Manhattan, I brought my love for the brand with me. Now working as an intern at two prestigious PR and marketing companies I use FIJI and fashion in my daily life. To me, fashion is just like water. They both give me a sort of sustenance and get my brain working in overdrive. When I scour fashion blogs for Nicolas Ghesquière’s latest creations or a new Marc Jacobs dress I feel so happy and fulfilled. Both are necessities to get my day going and having the opportunity to work during Fashion Week would be unbelievable. I’m passionate about this city and the fashion industry…so much so that I’m working five part-time jobs and internships to propel my career forward and gain the experience I need to succeed. Most importantly, I respect the fashion industry and respect your brand and would love to represent you in February.

Fiji's marketing approach is obviously more selective and sophisticated. Customers who purchase luxury products want to know that they are getting the best out there, and that’s what we have to show them during fashion week. I would want to make the consumers feel like they are exceptionally extraordinary for receiving these products. I want Fiji executives to know I realize how to market myself and have the valuable asset of recognizing my strengths and weaknesses. I have no doubt that your intern positions require an ability to multi-task as well as enthusiasm. The wide variety of internships I’ve held have given me the opportunity to develop many valuable skills that will help me during Fashion Week. I’m versatile, creative, personable, ambitious, hardworking, well-rounded, passionate, organizational, and not afraid of a challenge. I am a smart girl who knows what she wants out of life. I believe that my enthusiastic college-like personality will be a great addition when trying to find that new strategy to reach out to younger consumers. I have fervor for the business world and enjoy every aspect of this field. I want you to know that I am definitely up for the challenge of any job you have available.

Fiji, Fiji, Fiji...you must have known I work out 6 days out of the week and only buy your water. That being said, I am a 25 year old Mark Wahlberg look-a-like; I have a Lifestyle Conglomerate blog that focuses on "creating and manintaining a healthy lifestyle," I work for a web company (pay: commission), and I am also under contract with a NYC PR firm that handles major celebs - actors, designers, brands. That being said, the reason I would like an opportunity to work for Fiji is because I appreciate and have much respect for companies that offer quality products that better individuals on a daily basis. Many Companies offer products, but in doing so do not consider the health benefit of the consumer. I work at a high level with quality people offering quality goods and services. I will represent Fiji with class and pride. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Good taste, high quality and respectability are the traits that embodies Fiji Water and the fashion houses I so covet. Dependability is a quality I possess, perfect for long hours and sensitive tasks. Desire for fashionable pieces lead to the pursuit of a career in fashion and a blog dedicated to my whims. Simply put, I love fashion. I would rather work backstage and feel great about contributing to the production of a great show, than sit in front row just watching it. I believe you can only experience what a designer truly worked for behind the scenes. I also understand that hydration and health is crucial to the intense work environment backstage. I've witness a model fall due to lack of sustenance -- that makes me want to promote Fiji all the more.

Unbeknownst to many, I am a FIGI water distribution expert. I am a sort of modern gypsy, living and working here, there and everywhere. In between working as a nanny, on a horse farm, as a teacher, a writer, a busser, a fine jewelry saleswoman and an ice cream scooper, I worked two summers at ArtHamptons, a summer event that bring the world's (especially Manhattan's) finest artists and galleries to the their prime patrons in their summer homes. Snazzy. And at ArtHamptons, I was none other than the self-designated FIGI water distribution goddess. Those who have never put together a large-scale, high-class outdoor event in the heat of the summer might feel the word 'goddess' is a bit strong to describe my work, but those who have been behind the scenes in the execution of any high profile event know that it is not. The mental and physical preparation is exhausting. Dealers and artists were so busy attending to patrons that they did not have a moment to stop and breathe. Enter the goddess. I walked around the tents of ArtHamptons offering bottles of FIGI water to artists and gallery owners. Those who had been working for hours in the heat were beside themselves with thanks at the refreshing square bottle I placed in their hands. As a New York Fashion Week FIGI water representative I will act as an extension of the brand, showing designers and their teams that FIGI water recognizes the extensive work they do. Something as simple as a complimentary bottle of water for a tired, thirsty worker is more effective in creating brand loyalty than millions spent on advertising. And this FIGI goddess works for free.

Hi, my name is Stephanie. I am a 21 year old fashion design student at the University of Rhode Island. Being able to be a part of New York Fashion Week would be a dream come true for anyone interested in the fashion industry. Surrounded by fashion’s elite and top designers would be so inspiring for my own personal goals and the opportunity of a lifetime. Fiji water is doing a great thing by trying to become the first "carbon negative" product in the industry and much like them, in one of my classes we created a sustainable clothing line. We researched the possibilities for alternative fibers and ways of recycling them. It can be very difficult, but can be done. I have also completed personal projects utilizing old garments and creating new fashions. Water and clothing go great together! I am hardworking and dedicated to projects I start so I think I would be great for this internship. I would be very responsible with the duties given to me and represent Fiji water very professionally. I hope you will choose me for this unique experience.

They say New York has the BEST of a lot of things...like restaurants, shopping, attitudes, fashion...but what visitors may not know and only true New Yorkers do is that we have the best tap water in the country! While this is a great and well known fact, many New Yorkers still choose bottled water over the tap. And not just any water, but Fiji. With its easily recognizeable bottle and crisp, clean taste, Fiji is the water of choice for New Yorkers who know what it means to experience the best of the best. I would love the opportunity to share Fiji with those in the know (and those who just want to know) at NY Fashion Week.

To walk on runway is to run on water. Fiji water is such a grab and go product. With fashion week coming up we’re all on deadlines. Whether sampling garments or staying fit at the gym, Fiji water is the most fashionable accessory that isn’t going out of style. Here’s a bit about my lifestyle I’m David a 21yr old fashion student. With retail experience in different stores, and a motivated sales drive, I find my self-fitting greatly into Fashion PR. I’m a student at William Paterson University in my fourth year, studying communications and journalism and fashion styling classes. I also write for the school newspaper. My creativity can also be used as an advantage to the unique social media lifestyle. I would love to be apart of something so brand new and ingenious. I've worked in groups of teams and played as leader, which can be a great help with the models and public relating I’m most definitely interested in the Spring 2010 internship opportunity. I have the qualifications interning at any show as i've done so in September i'm well equip to the fast paced New York City nightlife and fashion life style. Being from New Jersey the next state over, i've always been amazed by the looks. As well as being current and in season on what’s hot and not. My most recent internship with Vintage Havana clothing had most definitely shown me the ins and outs of the industry. Not being afraid of rolling up a sleeve and taking charge, while taking direction at the same time. With much excitement, I’d be honored to be apart of this, making sure that everyone during fashion week will be complimented with Fiji water. Best, David.

Hey, I am very excited for this opportunity to apply for the FIJI Water fashion week intern position. As a resident New Yorker I know it's always exciting when Fashion Week comes around and Manhattan is a buzz with celebrities and world renowned fashion designers. I've always been amazed with the shows and what the designers have to offer to top off last season's show. I think I'd be the most deserving candidate because I am always researching and keeping up with the latest in New York City nightlife and fashion. I love keeping tabs on whats hot and what's not in this fast paced city. I am a fast learner and I thrive in fast paced environments such as this so I know I'd do well if given the opportunity. I have always been interested in the behind the scenes of this industry and providing the top notch service the clientele is already accustomed to receiving. I am the perfect cadidate for this internship because I am dedicated and I am very passionate about the fashion industry and all it has to offer. If chosen I would be extremely grateful for this step in the door, and do my best to fulfill my duties for this position and I hope that I do get the opportunity to get to showcase my skills. Again thank you for this opportunity and I look forward to hearing from you! Sincerely, Thelma L.

Fiji, Fashion and me. Well hydrated people have the best skin not to mention water is carb free. We all need water to exists. As a matter of fact our bodies are mostly made up of water. If we are what we consume, shouldnt we want to take in the best to be the best? With that being said Fiji is not just water is great tasting water, which makes it the hottest discovery since penicillin. My roommate has always hated the taste of water. She would only drink Sprite or juice, which resulted in weight gain. For years the only way she would drink water was by adding crystal light to regular boring water. Life changing was the day she discovered Fiji water. Within weeks she went from a size 6 to now a sexy size 2 and all because of Fiji's great taste. Sure most clean water can satisfy our basic need, however, why settle for basic when you can experience orgasmic?! Whether you carry a satchel or a cute Derek Lam bag make sure to always carry the only anti-aging, ex foliating and oxidant you'll ever need...Fiji water. Anything other than Fiji would be sooo canal street. :P

Hey, I love fashion and I love Fiji water, its hard to find it in the U.K thats why I love coming to New York!!!! I would love love love to be considered to be an intern for Fiji at New York fashion week as it would be an amazing oppourtunity and would further my knowledge of the fashion industry and how it works. At the moment I am studying for Degree in Fashion and clothing technology with business studies at Liverpool community college in England and I am definatley willing to jump on a plane and come to New York. I have recently finished a six week internship at Marie Claire Magazine in New York where I worked in the closet and that was amazing!!! In February 2007, I also worked at Zandra Rhodes in London for work experience which was also rather amazing!!!. These experiences have greatly heightened my awareness of the fashion/magazine industry and made me crave for more. I believe I would greatly benefit from working with like minded people on a busy schedule. I will do my upmost to complete any task given and would really appreciate it if you would please consider me. Thank you for your time. Best Krystle XOXO

Figi Water and Fashion, two of my favorites for 2010! I am a big advocate for drinking water to stay young and youthful, and Figi is out there to show the entertainment world that water is fabulous. As a part time student and actress I can work the room, mingle, do errands, make coffee and work my little 54 butt off with the chic sylists, models and designers. I was worked as a model booker and can be professional and sell Figi Water a quality product that already sells itself! Keep me in mind petite and perky and hardworking, oh and I dont take breaks, Figi Water will keep me going!

I am constantly scouring the latest fashion magazines for my favorite tips on how to update my look. Since I live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma it is hard to find a fashion savvy fellow comrade like me, a person hardly cares what they look like on the streets of downtown Tulsa. I am currently attending the University of Central Oklahoma and leaning towards fashion marketing as my major. This would put a nice little edge to my resume especially with the prestigious Fiji company backing me up. I am a twenty year old seeking to pursue my dreams, and if you pick me for the position I will work exceptionally hard and I promise you will not be disappointed.Choose me to represent your company at New York Fashion Week, and I will let no model, designer,or stylist dehydrate! Everyone will taste the refreshing cool of Fiji water while enjoying the Spring 2010 Fashion Week in New York City!

Hey there Fiji!, Names Freddy Santana im from Brooklyn,NYC. I dont know where to start and express How much I LOVE Fiji water, i am like a spokesperson for Fiji at times haha i've introduced it to many of my friends and co-workers, For those who have never tasted it just think its a suave attractive looking bottle but as soon as they get a sip of it they all reply with the same thing "im switching water " and it doesn't hurt to look good with a sexy bottle of Fiji anyway, I've lived here for over 20 years and fashion is pretty intense out here in the city and it thrills me to live in a state where fashion is a moving target and we have to keep moving with it, therefore we have more opportunity to use fashion as a message of expression in our lives. I live and breathe fashion its a slight obsession,No! it is an obsession, i start my day every day by checking up on my favorite fashion blogs then my Gmail then grab my power-bar and off to work, the guys in my running club just dont get it they are just a little too macho at times i just cant help but to mention it all the time even if they dont care lol, haha but they are now aware of many designers like Alexander Wang, RVCA, 3.1 Phillip Lim etc.. so they pretty much come to me when they want to impress thier lady friends and after the holidays they do come around and thank me :) Fiji please understand even before i read this blog/post i would be thee ideal guy for this internship Fiji and Fashion week is possibly the 2 badges that can represent me- the 3rd possibly would be nyc marathon's but yea lol, This opportunity would be huge deal for me and i will not let you down. Thank you soo much for reading and i hope i kept you on one track for i am a lil too excitied to fully explain myself and how happy i am to see Fiji a part of Fashion week with Mercedes Benz. I've always had an interest in fashion and wondered what it would be like to work with the ones that are constantly under the spotlight. Well, here's my chance! Let me start off by telling a little about myself: my names Nick and I'm a 20 year old business student currently studying at the University of California, Riverside. Since I was young, my parents would take me to different countries so that I could appreciate what I had, one of the places was FIJI. FIJI was a beautiful & exotic place, I remember seeing children with pet shrimps or frogs (odd and random I know but it was a site). Not much is remembered about FIJI (I was 9) but that me and my family were supplied with the local FIJI water by our tour guide and it was the first time I had some. Since then, FIJI water has definitely expanded and made an impact on me and my family. We try to drink FIJI water as much as possible due to it being pure without any added chemicals, plus it tastes better! As for my fashion background, I always liked looking good. Lets face it, who doesn't like looking their best? But for me, I had a different taste in fashion; I liked being bold and standing out. I like wearing the type of apparel that "only works on runways" and making a lasting impression. Many people have only one type of taste for fashion, but I consider everything fashionable. A normal day for me would be to wear a plaid button up with some nice 501s. Some may consider plaid ugly and hideous but I believe all types of styles should be given a chance. Fiji: Untouched by man. This purely pure water tastes like no other water in the world. From it's purest form, it is untouched by human hands until your hands are grasped around the bottle to indulge in a sip of bliss. As a fashionista and Fiji bottled water Connoisseur , I am perfect for this internship opportunity. Hailing from the "minnie apple" to the "big apple" to hand out "fuji apple" - wait a second...I mean FIJI WATER to models, guests, and fellow fashionistas is a once in a life time event. Please consider me for this position as I am outgoing and know how to "sell" a product - although with such a pure and smooth taste, Fiji Water pretty much sells itself.
